Fall Fun

To say Caroline loves pre-school would be an understatement.  Big things have been going on in the world of Caroline.  Pre-school was no transition at all.  Caroline has not shed a tear about going to preschool.  Now she has shed many tears about not getting to go to preschool because it is not a preschool day.

Over the last month the Canterbury kids have had many adventures.  First up was the first field trip.  The kids were very excited to ride on a big yellow school bus!
Look at that excited face!
While at the pumpkin patch each child was able to pick out a pumpkin to bring home.

Looking for that perfect pumpkin
Rich was able to join Caroline on the field trip.  By the looks of the pictures I'm not sure which one had more fun.

Gathering 12 two-year old is not an easy job.
In between adventures we took a family trip to Steele Farms to check out their pumpkin patch.  Caroline and Grace loved the pumpkin patch and activities.  We will for sure visit again.

Next up we hit up the annual "Haunted Hall of Hoops" at Assembly Hall.  This has become a Dickmeyer family tradition.  Our kids think this is what Halloween is all about.  They have no idea that you can go from house to house and get candy and I'm ok with that.  Caroline was intrigued with the happenings of the ball game.  She even knew when to yell "Go Hoosiers!"  She is a true fan just like her daddy.

IU basketball is even better with popcorn!

Last up was the Canterbury Kids Hat parade.  I tell you the Canterbury Early Childhood thinks of everything.  Why in the world would you try to dress up 12 two-year olds when you could just do hats and trick or treat from room to room.  Caroline put on her costume wig and went to town!
Parading out to the parents.

I'm cute and I know it!

Bring on Christmas we are ready.  Who needs Thanksgiving?  We are not thankful just one day of year we are thankful all year long!
