Caroline is the easiest child (knock on wood). She is so easy going. She will sit with a toy in the middle of the living room and entertain herself. She will smile and wave at any one who passes by. If you stop and listen real carefully you will hear her babbling. Caroline has started to say "mamma," "dadda," "gus," and "dank you." At her 13 month check up she did not gain any weight over the past 4 months but did grow 2 inches. We have another long and lean child on our hands. This month Caroline caught a little bit of a cough and had to start breathing treatments. This is Rich and Caroline's bonding time. Rich usually sings to Caroline to pass the time.
Caroline is developing a love for reading which makes any teacher mom's heart melt. We have begun having to have multiple stories at bedtime(one for Caroline and one for Grace).
Caroline also got her first haircut this month. She was still sporting locks from birth. Her baby hair never fell out. That girl has got one thick head of hair!
